Detailed 7-Day Safari Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha: Pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Briefing and relaxation as you prepare for your adventure. Optional visit to a local Maasai market or cultural center.

Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park: Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobabs and elephant herds. Game drive and picnic lunch inside the park. Overnight at a lodge or camp near the park.

Day 3 – Tarangire to Lake Eyasi (Cultural Day): Morning drive to Lake Eyasi. Visit the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers and join them on a traditional hunting session. Later, meet the Datoga blacksmiths and learn about their metalwork and ancient customs. Overnight near Lake Eyasi.

Day 4 – Lake Eyasi to Serengeti National Park: Early start and drive through the Ngorongoro highlands into Serengeti. Game drive en route. Arrive in central Serengeti for golden-hour wildlife viewing. Overnight in a tented camp.

Day 5 – Full Day in Serengeti: A full day exploring the vast savannahs and riverine forests. Track the Big Five, witness the Great Migration (seasonal), and enjoy lunch in the wild. Overnight in central or northern Serengeti.

Day 6 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater: Sunrise game drive and breakfast, then journey toward the crater rim. Optional visit to a Maasai boma. Overnight at a lodge near the rim or in Karatu with panoramic views of the highlands.

Day 7 – Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha: Early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife-rich caldera home to rhinos, elephants, and big cats. Enjoy a half-day game drive and picnic lunch before returning to Arusha in the late afternoon. End of tour.
